Built over 250 years ago, Tamarind Hill is a manor house located in the historical city of Galle. The luxury boutique hotel is set slightly inland but you can easily reach the Southern shores of the island in no time. The property is ideally located approximately 10 minutes away from the Dutch Fort in Galle which is a well known UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake takes about 2 1/2 hours via the Southern Expressway while if you prefer a coastal scenic route you can always take the Colombo - Galle motorway. You can avoid traffic completely and take and Air Taxi which flies from Katunayake to Koggala which is about 30 minutes away from Tamarind Hill.
